14. Indirect Approach

If your child spills milk on the kitchen floor and you say nothing about it, but silently toss her the towel while going about your own business, you have just used an Indirect Approach. Chances are, your child will simply wipe up the milk. In fact, there is a good chance she will not even remember the incident. That's the power of the indirect approach.
