Even mild-mannered, playful dolphins have tantrums when they can't figure out what their trainer wants them to do. Kids have to learn a lot more than dolphins do, and some frustration is inevitable. The secret is to remove the frustration without rewarding the tantrum. If you can't help with the frustration, you can at least be sympathetic.
